As another HIMSS conference is in the books, it’s time for me to reflect on what I learned. Here goes nothing!

Good morning! I thought I was the only one getting an early start on HIMSS.

One of the big themes of HIMSS 2018 will be, wait for it, interoperability. Now, I know what you’re saying, “Hasn’t that been a big theme for the last five years? You can’t be serious.”

Well, it has been, and I can be. We are still not there yet.

NRF is here again! With retail’s big show in full swing, we’re taking a break from the excitement to take a look at the top retail trends in 2018.

From the perspective of physician leaders, the HIMSS 2017 meeting was overwhelming (as always!) There are always more sessions to attend and more vendors with whom to visit than is humanly possible, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun trying.

Avaap recently exhibited at HIMSS 2017, the largest and most important healthcare IT conference in the U.S. We had a great week of deep discussions with clinical and business leaders about EHR and ERP technologies and trends impacting the healthcare industry. One of the most exciting things about HIMSS week is seeing what is top-of-mind for healthcare IT professionals and how healthcare technology is improving exponentially.
